The Antica Distilleria Domenico Sibona is located in the Roer region in the municipality of Piobesi d’Alba, a few kilometers from Alba.
The special thing about Grappa Sibona is that it has a special distilling license, the No. 1 of the UTF.
Grappa Piemontese is made from Moscato pomace from freshly selected grapes chosen by Sibona during the harvest.
Distillation takes place entirely in-house in copper stills, while ageing takes place for a long period in stainless steel vats. A very long ageing process, first in medium and then in smaller oak barrels, completes this grappa.
