Antica Distilleria Domenico Sibona is located in the Roero area in the municipality of Piobesi d’Alba, a few kilometers from Alba.
The special thing about Grappa Sibona is that it has a special distilling license, the No 1 of the UTF.
A noble Barolo grappa aged for 15 years in fine oak barrels and limited to only a few numbered bottles.
A true collector’s item.
Grappa Piemontese is made from Barbera pomace from freshly selected grapes chosen by Sibona at harvest time.
Distillation takes place entirely in-house in copper stills, and aging takes place for a long period in stainless steel tanks. A very long aging, first in medium, then in smaller oak barrels completes this grappa.
