The Antica Distilleria Domenico Sibona S.p.A. is located in the heart of Piedmont, more precisely in Piobesi d’Alba, in the middle of the region where some of the best Piedmontese wines originate. It is one of the oldest and most traditional distilleries in Piedmont, which gives it a special place in Italian distillery culture.

Due to this long tradition and its historical value, Sibona has the prestigious “Licenza di Distillazione No. 1”. This rare distilling license is only awarded by the Italian tax authorities to distilleries that stand out due to their exceptional history and consistent quality. The Distilleria Sibona thus embodies not only artisanal excellence, but also the legacy of a centuries-old tradition that is continued in the production of top products.

Sibona’s Uvedilanga is an outstanding grape brandy, characterized by its round body and intense fruity notes. It is produced using mainly vinified Moscato grapes from the renowned Langhe region, with the grape skins also being used in the process. After a long and slow fermentation, distillation takes place immediately to preserve the freshness and aromas of the grapes.

Dabei wird der Traubenbrand schonend in Kupferbrennkolben im Wasserbad destilliert, was zu einer besonders sanften Verarbeitung fuehrt. Anschliessend ruht der junge Uve di Langa fuer eine laengere Zeit in Edelstahlbehaeltern, wodurch er seine charakteristische Ausgewogenheit und Aromatik entwickelt. Dieses Verfahren sorgt fuer einen Traubenbrand von hoechster Qualitaet und Reinheit.
