Grappa Riserva Numero 1 by Sibona was created to pay tribute to the traditional distillation license number 1, which symbolizes the prestige and long history of the distillery. This exquisite grappa is made from a hand-picked cuvee of reserve grappas aged for various periods in barrels and tonneaux of different origins and sizes, which gives it its impressive complexity and sophistication.
The basis of this grappa is Piedmontese marc, which is freshly and carefully selected during the harvest. Distillation takes place exclusively in-house in traditional copper stills, using the in-depth knowledge of experienced oenologists and distillers. After an initial maturation in stainless steel tanks, the grappa is refined over a longer period in barrels and tonneaux
