Rochelt uses a traditional method in which the natural, additive-free fermented mash is double-distilled in copper kettles. The schnapps then matures for at least 7 years in the attic, where it develops its full aroma. During this long storage period, it develops an impressive smoothness and a pleasantly mild taste.
