In 1875, Alfredo Francisco Pellas Canessa, a young adventurer from Genoa, Italy, left his family behind to travel to the exotic land of Nicaragua. The perfect location for the distillery was found at the foot of San Cristobal Volcano, the highest and most active volcano in Nicaragua. The fertility of the surrounding lands, the enriched water and the hot volcanic climate proved to be crucial for the unique and smooth taste of the rum.

This amber-colored rum from Nicaragua is aged for 20 years in oak barrels. It was produced to celebrate Flor de Cana’s 30th anniversary.
On the matte purple colored outer packaging you can see the volcano.
