The third ingredient (endemic to Oaxaca) is used to bring personality to the product, staying true to traditional local sourced ingredients and its artisanal process. A natural dye made from the crushing and fermentation of the jiquilite (indigofera plant), this plant is sourced at a Zoque community in the eastern area of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec. It is very limited, and the only place in Oaxaca where this dye is produced.
