A blend of molasses and pure cane juice from the Tapachula plantations in Chiapas, doubly distilled, filtered with charcoal and aged in barrels of cognac, whisky, sherry, Bordeaux, port and red, the richness of its spicy aromas is an invitation to travel.
Amber in colour, exhaling the grassy aromas of agricultural rum, the nose has aromas of pears, apples, coffee, chocolate, cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate, leather flavours blend with caramel and anise. Less sweet than on the nose, they still last because of the subtle presence of fruit from the orchard. The finish offers a medium persistence and notes of lemon and oak.
