Cutwater Rayador Reposado Tequila

Cutwater Rayador Reposado Tequila is a tribute to the elegant and precise nature of the Rayador, also known as the Black Skimmer sea bird, which served as the inspiration for this exceptional tequila. The journey begins with 100% blue agave, meticulously harvested from the Jalisco region of Mexico. These prized agave plants undergo a traditional process that includes slow cooking in brick ovens, open fermentation, and double distillation in traditional “alambique” stills constructed from stainless steel and copper in the heart of Tequila, Mexico. After this meticulous distillation process, the tequila embarks on an aging journey in Cutwater whiskey barrels. The result is a Reposado tequila that masterfully blends the rich flavors of cooked agave with delicate hints of vanilla and oak, creating a distinctly Cutwater Tequila Reposado.
