This is an extremely smooth tequila. Produced in the highlands of Jalisco, its rested for between eight and twelve months prior to bottling. It offers up a smooth, satiny texture, along with a pronounced, cotton candy like sweetness. On the nose, it has a creamy, almost custard like quality, followed by floral, jasmine and white flowers, and notes of apple and hints of tropical fruit and just a bit of vanilla. The herbaceousness typical of most tequilas is very subtle in the background.
On the palate, its very sweet and creamy, with a notable palate weight and notes of caramel, cotton candy and vanilla, along with a touch of mint. The finish is very long and creamy with a pronounced lingering sweetness, along with fruit notes, some cinnamon and pepper. This is a very unusual tequila. It wont appeal to traditionalists, but if you are looking for smoothness and sweetness then its worth a try.
