Chinaco Aejo Tequila 700ml – a premium tequila that comes in a 700ml bottle. It is named after the independent landowners who fought for Mexico’s independence in the 18th century. Since 1972, Chinaco has produced excellent tequilas at their family-owned and operated distillery, La Gonzalea. The distillery pays homage to General Manuel Gonzalez, the hero of the Cinco de Mayo battle and the former president of Mexico from 1880 until 1884.

This Aejo tequila is aged for 35 months in a mix of Scotch white oak barrels and ex-bourbon barrels, resulting in a silky-smooth texture and a beautiful oak and caramel character. The distillery describes the aejo as having subtle aromas of pear, wildflowers, vanilla, smoke, and baked apple, with a hint of papaya and mango. The rich and complex flavors offer exceptional depth, balance, and style, and the tequila finishes with a luscious, spicy, smoky finish.
