Typically incorporated into their Amore Rosso blend to add an aromatic lift, this year the color, texture, and fruit were so exceptional that it was given its own spotlight.
The grapes were lightly foot-treaded and left on the skins for two days to achieve a beautiful color before being pressed into a large oval Hungarian oak barrique. It then naturally fermented and aged in the oak vessel for seven months.
