Little Book Chapter 5 The Invitation Bourbon

This Little Book is our invitation to you, and we hope you will accept. Little Book Chapter 5 The Invitation was created by Freddie Noe and is a blend of four different liquid streams with a vast range of ages, flavors and distillation styles.

The first is a very old high-rye bourbon (over 13 years) that has been aged in new oak barrels. This liquid has an intense, robust flavor profile and packs quite a punch (at over 120 proof).

The second stream is a wheated bourbon that was distilled from wheat, instead of rye. This light, sweet spirit was distilled on the eighth generation pot stills at our historic distillery in Louisville and has an age of 6 years.

Our third stream is an unaged rye whiskey with a mash bill of 95% rye 5% malted barley. This unaged rye whiskey has intense flavors of grain and spice are balanced with vanilla and honey notes.

Finally, our fourth stream is cask strength Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey (10 years), which is bottled at 107 proof. This bourbon features deep caramelized vanilla flavor with hints of tobacco and spice, which complement the other flavors in the blend and help create balance.
