ArteNOM Seleccin 1414 Reposado 750ML – Destileria El Ranchito has been owned by Feliciano Vivanco since the post-revolutionary period of 1919-1929. They hold 2,000 acres of estate-grown agave and distill everything in traditional pot stills. However, their fermentation process makes them unique – their yeast and climate create a bready banana nut aroma and flavor.

Tasting Notes

• It is made from 100% Blue Weber Agave and aged for 10 months in American white oak bourbon barrels.
• Color: very pale straw
• Some say the tequila has notes of green banana, orange-blossom honey, nutmeg, and citrus peel.Others say it smells and tastes like a fresh baked sugar cookie.
• Palate: salted vanilla cookie, allspice, mild chile heat.

The Vivanco family began cultivating highland agave during Mexico’s tumultuous post-revolutionary period of 1919-1929. In Don Feliciano Vivanco’s hometown of Arandas, Jalisco, subsequent generations of Vivancos have remained devoted to expanding the family’s agave plantations. In 1994, the family’s dream of acquiring their distillery was finally realized with the purchase of Destilera El Ranchito.

With approximately 2,000 acres of estate-grown agave at their disposal, Sergio & Jos Manul Vivanco have become renowned for producing rich, well-balanced tequilas.
