The story of Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum begins over 270 years ago in a unique, mystical place known as Nassau Valley. This place is characterized by a rare karstic landscape with cone-shaped limestone formations, caves and underground water springs. This rum is also known as Appleton Estate Rare Blend 12 Years Old and was renamed Appleton Estate Rare Casks 12 Years Old in 2021. This premium rum with a strong amber color is produced in old copper stills and is a “hand-blended blend” of different rum varieties that are stored in oak barrels for up to 18 years.
