Certified organic and biodynamic with maturation taking place in French oak barriques for a period of 18 months. Dense pitch black in colour with a deep bright dark red black tinged hue. Elevated black cherry and liquorice aromas are complimented by vanillin cedar, scorched earth, black olive and peppered meat notes. Rich, succulent black cherry, liquorice and blackberry fruits drive the palate underscored by earthy vanillin cedar, dried meat and blackpepper characters. Ripe chewy tannins lend some grip to the long lavishly fruited aftertaste.

Excellent purple/black hue. In a way a commanding wine, yet it has alluring perfume, and a wave of spices over black fruit. Full bodied, deep, earthy and complex. Ribbons of tannins strung through, a touch raspy (presumably from toasty oak) but either way, it offers a solid drink today, or more refinement in a few years. Drink by 2032.
