Loco mbar Reposado Tequila

Loco Tequila arose from the dream of three passionate Mexicans entrepreneurs who sought to create an icon that could represent the artistry and exceptionality of Mexico. Their objectives were to rescue the original identity of tequila and elevate it to an unprecedented level of excellence.

The name pays tribute to those who challenge conventional thinking in the pursuit of creating something extraordinary, just as the founders were called crazy for pushing the boundaries of traditional tequila making.

Loco mbar is a limited production reposado rested for 6-10 months in a sophisticated blend of four barrels, impeccably balanced to retain its agave identity. The twice-used Irish whiskey, then stout beer, barrel gives notes of malt and roasted grains; the former Pedro Ximenez sherry provides fine floral and herbal notes; and the Tawny Port barrel lends delicate nut flavors. The new French oak barrel contributes elegant vanilla and spicy notes. Loco mbar is warm and earthy, and pairs well with charred meats and bittersweet chocolate and caramel desserts.

Each bottle is individually numbered and placed in a piece of art created by Jan Hendrix. Impeccably created from estate grown agave in Tequila Valley. Additive free.
