The 2014 was only around for a matter of weeksthanks to the way we create Righteous FG Shiraz 2016 was nestled close to the 14 and now the 2017 is ready to step up for release.

Luckily I have a network of mates who own vineyards across the Barossa, which means I get to see some of the best Shiraz there is in a valley that produces some of the best of the stuff youll see in the world. Weather beaten old buggers enduring year after year in tough soilsproducing tiny crops of small berries jumping with flavourintense black fruits, plums, dark chocolate and warm spices. These old blokes are treated with the respect they deservehand picked, Rolls Royce treatment all the way in the winery for FGfermented in open vats with twice daily pump-overs before heading to spend some time resting up in a mix of new French (50%) and a bit of older, seasoned gear.
