Description
The de Pury family has cultivated land in the Yarra Valley since 1863. Once renowned for its vineyard in the 19th century, production halted in 1921 as fine table wines declined in popularity. In 1969, Guill and Katherine de Pury began replanting, gradually restoring the estates historic reputation. Today, fourth-generation winemaker Sandra de Pury leads Yeringberg, with her brother David overseeing the vineyard. The low-yielding, ancient vines produce wines known for exceptional finesse and age-worthiness.

Tasting Notes
“The Pinot has a complexity, poise and depth which drinks effortlessly today and promises a wonderful future. Pure, elegant aromas of raspberry, rose petal and cherry are interlaced with sappy, spicy notes. The palate is similarly bright, savoury and refined, while also offering serious plummy depth, velvety structure, cool spicy volume and a long & evolving finish that slowly unfurls with time in the glass. A serious vintage to enjoy throughout the next decade.” – Yeringberg
