Initially aged in a combination of Coopers Reserve and Coopers Select New American Oak, as well as first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, it then undergoes a finishing process in wine casks, including Tempranillo, WA Red Blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Petit Verdot. This finishing stage infuses the whiskey with layers of fruit-forward complexity and a subtle tannic structure.
